How to read the new Ankorstore label shipping grid

What's changing and why

Until now, our shipping grid used three broad categories: domestic, International Zone 1, and International Zone 2. This meant destinations with very different shipping costs were grouped at the same rate, sometimes too high, sometimes too low.

From November 1 2026, we're switching to carrier's own zoning system, which assigns a specific zone to each origin-destination corridor. With 15 zones instead of 3, each route is priced more accurately and for many of the routes our brands use most, this means lower rates.

How to find your rate

Step 1 - Find your zone

Your zone depends on where you're shipping from and where you're shipping to.
Use the zone table in the new grid : Ankorstore Shipping Grid.

to look up your origin country (rows) and destination country (columns). The cell at the intersection gives you your zone number (1 to 15).

Example: shipping from France to Belgium → Zone 2.

Step 2 - Find your rate

Once you have your zone, find the column for that zone in the rate table and look up the row that matches your shipment weight. That's your shipping cost.

How weight is calculated

The rate is based on the reference weight, which is the higher of:

  • The actual weight of the shipment (in kg)

  • The volumetric weight: length × height × depth (in cm) ÷ 6,000

Volumetric weight accounts for large but light packages, like a lampshade, that take up more space than their actual weight would suggest.

The reference weight is always rounded up to the next full kilogram.

Example: A package weighing 6.3 kg with dimensions 20 × 30 × 40 cm has a volumetric weight of 4 kg (24,000 ÷ 6,000). The actual weight wins. Rounded up: reference weight = 7 kg.

The price does not vary by number of packages, within a limit of 20 packages per order.

What's included in the price

All rates include: freight, pickup, fuel surcharge, and any applicable surcharges (low-density area, returns, border fees, city-centre delivery, security, customer service, and compensation).

Can the final cost differ from the estimate?

Yes. When you ship, you provide the weight and dimensions of your packages. Our carrier audits this data and may adjust the final invoiced cost if the information differs from what was declared. The invoiced amount is always based on the carrier's verified measurements.
