Pay Later – Deferred Payment (30, 60, or 90 days)

What is deferred payment and how does it work?

Pay Later allows you to place orders and pay 30, 60, or 90 days after checkout, depending on your eligibility. Net-90 is included for Ankorstore+ retailers only. Your available credit limit is assessed by our payment partner Aria and/or by Ankorstore, and can evolve over time based on your payment history and financial situation.

In which countries is Pay Later available?

Pay Later is currently available for retailers based in:

  • France

  • Spain

  • Germany

  • Netherlands

  • Belgium

What is Aria and what role does it play in my deferred payments?

Aria is Ankorstore's financial partner that manages your deferred payments (Net-30, 60, or 90 days). When you choose a deferred payment option, Aria evaluates your credit limit, manages your SEPA direct debit mandate, and processes the debit on your chosen due date. This service is completely free for you: Ankorstore covers all associated fees.

How do I know if I'm eligible for deferred payment?

Eligibility is assessed automatically by Aria and/or Ankorstore based on several criteria: your payment history on Ankorstore, your company's financial situation, your account verification status, and your country. You can check your current eligibility and available credit directly in your retailer back office under Payment settings.

When exactly will my account be debited?

Here is the timeline for your deferred payment:

  • Day 1 (order date): Your order is placed and the SEPA direct debit mandate is authorized. No amount is debited at this stage.

  • Due date (D+30, D+60, or D+90): The amount is automatically debited from the account you provided when placing the order. This delay includes delivery time, meaning it runs from the order date, not from the reception date.

How can I check my available credit and upcoming debit date?

Your available credit and limit are visible in your retailer back office under Payment settings → Deferred payment, or on the banner at the top of the main page. Your upcoming due dates are also available in the Payments & Invoices section. Ankorstore will send you reminder emails before each due date. We recommend regularly monitoring your payment schedule to anticipate upcoming debits. Your credit limit is reassessed periodically by Aria and you will be notified if it changes.

How do I set up or update my IBAN for deferred payment?

Go to Payment settingsDeferred payment → Add IBAN. You will be redirected to our secure payment partner (Mangopay) to enter or update your IBAN. This redirection is expected and secure. Please note that your new IBAN will replace the previous one for all current and future payments, including orders already placed. If your IBAN is rejected, check that it matches your company's registered bank account.

What happens if I have an unpaid invoice or my credit is frozen?

Your deferred payment access is automatically suspended when an invoice becomes overdue or when Aria detects an unpaid balance. To restore access:

  1. Check your emails from Aria first: they contain the repayment options available to regularize your situation.

  2. If you are on SEPA direct debit, allow time for the collection to be processed before contacting support.

  3. Once the outstanding amount is paid or collected, your access will be restored within 24 to 48 hours and your credit limit will be gradually replenished.

My available credit is displayed but I cannot place an order with deferred payment. Why?

Several situations may block access to deferred payment even when credit is shown:

  • A pending KYC verification: If your business verification is not completed, access may be temporarily blocked. Complete your verification from the Settings tab in your account.

  • An unresolved dispute or claim: This may result in a temporary freeze of your credit limit.

  • A technical issue: If none of the above applies, please contact our support team for further investigation.

Why did I lose access to deferred payment I previously had?

Aria periodically reassesses eligibility based on payment history and financial data. Access can be suspended following a missed payment, a change in your company's financial situation, or a compliance review. If you believe this is an error, contact our support team who can escalate to Aria for review.

Can I lose eligibility for deferred payment if I dispute a payment?

Yes. Disputing a payment may result in a downgrade of your eligibility by Aria. If your account is downgraded due to a payment dispute, Aria's insurance coverage may be reduced or removed, which can lead to the loss of your deferred payment terms. Once downgraded, reinstatement is unlikely in the short term, as Aria follows a strict risk assessment process. To avoid this, ensure your payment methods are correctly set up in your account settings and contact our Customer Service team before disputing a payment to resolve any billing issues.

Is it possible to change the payment date or split my Aria debit?

No. Aria does not allow early payment before the due date, payment deferral, or splitting the debit.

What happens if my debit fails?

In the event of a failed debit (insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), Aria will contact you by email with the steps to regularize your situation. Your access to deferred payment may be temporarily suspended until the balance is settled.

I received a payment reminder but I have already paid. What should I do?

If you are on SEPA direct debit, your payment may already be scheduled for collection. Please check:

  1. Your bank account to confirm the debit has gone through.

  2. Your payment history in the retailer back office.

If both confirm payment was made, contact our support team with proof of payment and we will resolve this quickly.

My credit was not released after I cancelled an order. What should I do?

After an order cancellation, credit release can take up to 48 to 72 hours to be reflected in your available balance. If your credit has not been updated after 72 hours, please contact our support team.
